CHILDHOOD

Augmented Child Experience

Hand Exoskeleton
A human interacts with and understands the world by touching, grasping and/or throwing objects with their hand. Transforming the hand dimensions into a child's is important factor for reproducing a child's perception. The proposed exoskeletons have no motors and sensors thus it is actuated passively by the user's actions. As a consequence, the users are able to receive complete and real-time haptic feedback from the exoskeleton. By using the exoskeleton, users are capable of perceiving and recognizing the difficulty of grasping objects in daily life.
